On Friday (25.03) afternoon, Franzi arrived in Boston and I picked her up from the airport as usual :) She was really tired from the flight, so we just went for a walk before going to bed that day. On Saturday we started the day with a great breakfast before we visited Pleasure Bay again. The Fort of Independent was still closed for the season though. On Sunday (27.03.) we visited the Museum of Science. It has a good reputation, so we were curious. We were surprised though that it was rather old fashioned and focused on kids. It was fun, but not as good as we hoped. The best part was an electricity show with plenty lightnings. They even performed a music and light show using the electric bolts.

During the week, Franzi came the Dana-Farber and had lunch with me, Patrick, Christian and Romy. On Wednesday (30.03.) we watched the musical Sound of Music at the Boston Opera House. I was amazed by the opera house's gorgeous interior. The musical was great too. We were just a bit shocked to see the stage covered in Hakenkreuz flags^^

On Friday (1.4.) Franzi joined our weekly beer hour where we enjoyed the views and I enjoyed beers :D After Patrick told us about the Target store, Franzi couldn't resist but go shopping there. On Saturday (2.4.) we used the car of my new flat mate to visit the blue hills
again. It was quite cold and rainy, but the hike was still fun. After the hike, I took Franzi for a late lunch to the
Fire and Ice restaurant. She liked it a lot. With full bellys we then walked down Boylston street to Public Garden. Spring wasn't really there yet. The place is still nice though.
